Join us for the 2023 Bob Kravitz ALS Golf Classic!
The annual Bob Kravitz ALS Golf Tournament brings together golf lovers, community business leaders, and philanthropists to work together to increase awareness and raise money to support local Hoosier ALS families. Bob Kravitz, sports journalist, works to secure local and national celebrities to golf and network with participants.
In 2007 Bob lost his mother, Edith, to ALS. ALS, or amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, is an always fatal neurodegenerative disease in which the person's brain loses connection with the muscles. People with ALS lose their ability to walk, talk, eat, and eventually breathe. The Bob Kravitz ALS Golf Classic is organized not only in memory of Edith but in support of all those impacted by ALS. The outing raises funds for Hoosiers and their families as they navigate the unknown waters of this horrific disease supporting the mission work of The ALS Association in their vital work to make ALS a livable disease by 2030.
